New Regulation from the Collège des médecins

The new Regulation respecting the standards relating to prescriptions made by a physician, that has come into force on last October 22, now provides that orders made by a physician must not contain a name or logo of products, of services or of suppliers of such products and services.

In addition, the physician that uses a technological tool for the prescription of an order must ensure that the application, including decision support tools, do not disclose or promote, nor encourage the disclosure or promotion of any particular products, services or suppliers of such products or services.
