Ms. Leroux mainly provides research and case-preparation services in the areas of labour and employment law, professional law, and disciplinary law for the firm’s litigators.
In addition, Ms. Leroux provides counsel and assistance to employers in the daily management of their human resources with regard to, among other things, the enforcement of labour laws, of human rights, of the Charter of the French Language and of collective agreements, as well as with regard to retirement plans and employment benefits. Before joining the firm, Ms. Leroux worked several years for major law firms and a publicly-traded company with operations in Quebec and internationally. Her experience in a corporate setting gave her the opportunity to use her expertise in labour and employment law and to develop an additional skill set in corporate law, securities and intellectual property, as well as enabling her to gain an in-depth understanding of business management issues.
